2. Description of Service

Precedent.ie provides an "Agentic Design Kit" for Irish planning intelligence. We use AI models to analyze planning precedents, local development plans, and environmental hazards. You understand and agree that the service is provided "AS-IS" and for **informational purposes only**.

3. AI Limitation of Liability (CRITICAL)

Our AI models are trained on historical data and policy documents. They generate analysis based on precedent. However, AI can "hallucinate" or provide inaccurate citations. Precedent.ie is NOT a substitute for professional planning, legal, or architectural advice. You understand and accept that any decision made based on AI output is solely your responsibility. We are not liable for any planning refusals or financial losses resulting from the use of our analysis.

4. User Accounts and Subscriptions

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. All subscriptions are processed via Stripe and are subject to their terms.

  • Free Trial: We offer a 7-day free trial for new users.
  • Paid Subscription: Subscription fees are billed monthly and are non-refundable after the trial period.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via the dashboard.

5. Intellectual Property

All software, code, branding, and text on Precedent.ie are the property of Precedent Analytics Technologies. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the platform for your own professional planning research.

6. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or automate the platform without authorization.
  • Use the platform for any illegal purpose.
  • Interfere with the security or operation of the service.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in behavior that harms our platform or other users.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
