The development will consist of demolition of prefabricated units totalling 110 sq.m, construction of new single storey extensions to three separate areas of existing special needs school, totalling 781 sq.m to maximum height of 6.8m, with both flat and pitched roofs including new roof windows, a new 4.3m high canopy to the front entrance of the school, internal alterations to existing building, associated paving and pedestrian access ramps, new low retaining walls, 13 additional and 5 relocated car parking spaces, alteration/diversions to existing services and providing new and resurfaced traffic circulatory routes and reshaping of existing driveway to campus to provide for two-way traffic flow and other associated site works.
