develop at Capard House. Capard House is a 'Protected Structure' (RPS Ref: 434_A, B, C). The proposed development consists of:- 1) careful removal of 19th Century concrete and stone floor to form an aperture for the ground floor - first floor (two-stop) platform lift to include structural trims to floor, 2) removal of sections of 'later' plastered brickwork arched wine racks, 3) re-configuration of upper-floor accommodation local to the lift enclosure (small storage room (later WC)), 4) installation of platform lift (no requirement for machine room overhead or crouch space underneath), using existing ground-floor foor ope for new lift door ope and formation of new opening for lift door at (locally reconfigured) partitions at first-floor level, 5) associated redecoration and completion works.
