The proposed development will consist of the importation of inert waste materials consisting of soils, sub-soils, stone, sands, gravels, rocks and C & D waste consisting of concrete, blocks and bricks for the purpose of improving existing low-lying agricultural lands. The site will be divided into two cells which will be filled in phases: Cell 1 as Phase 1 and Cell 2 as Phase 2. Approximately half (50%) of the inert material accepted to the site will be crushed and graded on site for its subsequent export as secondary aggregate for use on construction projects in the midland's region. The site will have a new entrance road and gates off the existing Dublin Road (R446, old N6) with onsite parking, yards, wheel wash, weighbridge, portacabin office/admin hut, boundary fencing, and all associated site works. Subsequent to planning the applicant will apply for a waste facility permit.
