Permission is sought for a new 3-storey stand-alone residential building at Aras Leon, Murphy's Farm, Bishopstown, Cork, together with associated siteworks comprising alterations to the existing parking area to increase the number of car parking spaces to 40, a 75m2 external amenity space, and landscaping works. The new residential building will house 15 no. one-bedroom apartments adjacent to an existing residential development. As part of this application Permission is also sought for the demolition of the existing bin store and construction of a new bin store and bicycle shelter. Currently, the land use zoning of the site is Public Open Space and the proposed development will require a Material Contravention of the Development Plan for rezoning the site to residential.
