for the upgrade of the Ballyconnell Wastewater Treatment Plant comprising of the following: Alterations to the existing inlet works to install a manual bypass channel with a manually raked bar screen, a new storm overflow chamber, a grit removal system and relocating the existing screen upstream of the SWO; Installation of a new above ground PFT and decommission existing PFT; Installation of a new storm tank cleaning system within existing storm tank; Installation of new storm return pumping station; Installation of a new wash water pumping station; Automation of the existing RAS/WAS system; Installation of a GRP kiosk to house electrical control panel and all ancillary site works. A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) has been prepared in respect of the proposed development.
