for the upgrade of the Kilmoganny Wastewater Treatment Plant and will generally comprise the following: construction of a new aeration tank with associated access stairs and platform; construction of a new ferric dosing system; construction of new potable water booster pump station; construction of a new control kiosk and welfare unit; conversion of existing aeration tank to a sludge holding tank; Installation of a new automatic inlet screen; conversion of existing sludge holding tank into storm water holding tank; and all ancillary site development works including hard and soft landscaping. A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) has been prepared in respect of the proposed development.
