PERMISSION: The development will consist of the following: (i) demolition of the existing two-storey public house and residential structure (known as Old County Bar) and single-storey structure to the rear; (ii) construction of a part- two, part-four, part-five storey, mixed-use retail and residential development, with setback first and fourth floor levels, consisting of the following: (a) retail space with kitchen and shared bin store at ground floor level, (b) 12 no. apartments comprising 6 no. one-beds, 5 no. two-beds and 1 no. four- bed units at first to fourth floor levels, each with associated balcony along the southern and eastern elevations from first to third floor levels and private outdoor terrace provided to the penthouse unit along the southern, eastern and western elevations at fourth floor level (c) communal open space at first and fourth floor levels, (d) provision of 5 no. carparking spaces at street level (2 no. spaces along Clonard Road and 3 no. spaces along Old County Road), and (e) and 36 no. secure bicycle parking spaces at ground floor level; and (iii) all associated site and engineering works including boundary treatments, landscaping, infrastructure and SuDS necessary to facilitate the development.
