for development consisting of demolition of the existing rear kitchen extension to the house and construction of a new single-storey development to the rear, forming a U-shaped courtyard plan and connecting to the existing outbuilding on the site. The new build will comprise of 89m2, containing a new kitchen, dining area, bedroom and utility and associated landscaping works. No changes to the front of the original house are proposed, however a new opening will be made in the original rear wall. Materials and finishes are designed to match and/or complement the original buildings with a new timber frame structure and green roof to be used for the single storey extension
