The development will consist of the demolition and removal of the existing rear and side extension at the centre to allow for the construction of a new visitor experience building including exhibition, event, and refreshments spaces, office, archive, and all ancillary facilities associated with the visitor experience building. The restoration and refurbishment of Saint Catherine's Church, a regional protected structure (RPS 31308603) to accommodate Louisburgh Community Library and other multifunctional spaces, including landscaping, lighting, signage, and all ancillary site works.
