The development will provide for the upgrade of the Mulranny Wastewater Treatment Plant and will comprise of the demolition of existing redundant structures; construction of a new inlet works; construction of new storm water holding tank complete with internal cleaning system, storm return system, access stairs and platform; construction of new sludge holding tank complete with access stairs and platform; construction of new storm feed pumping station; construction of new kiosk enclosure to house electrical control panel; and all ancillary site works. A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) has been prepared in respect of the proposed development.
