Decision Maker's Conclusion
- The development is located on lands designated as public open space under previous planning permissions (95/1066 and PL17.098855), and its loss would seriously injure the residential amenities of the existing Beaufort Place housing development.
- The proposal fails to provide the required 15% usable public open space as mandated by DM OBJ 26 of the Meath County Development Plan 2021-2027, establishing an undesirable future precedent.
- The applicant failed to provide sufficient technical detailing regarding surface water drainage to demonstrate that the orderly collection and disposal of water can be adequately managed in accordance with policy INF POL 16.
