for the proposed development includes the extension of the existing Esker Quarry permitted under Pl. Ref. 99/751 and extended under Pl. Ref: 04/417, ABP Reg. Ref. 07.210064. Permission is sought for an operational lifetime of 25 years. The proposed development consists of : Development of a lateral extension to the existing limestone quarry of an area measuring approximately 2.29ha for the extraction and processing of limestone. Relocation of existing wheel wash and weighbridge within the existing site and the provision of internal traffic management signage; Construction of surface water and stormwater infrastructure including stormwater drains, surface drainage channel, stormwater catchpit, infiltration trench and hydrocarbon bypass interceptor; Provision of 2 no. vehicle passing bays along the L7164, continued use of existing operational infrastructure including processing plant, workshop and on-site office buildings; continued use of the existing site entrance off the L7164; Implementation of site restoration; all ancillary site enabling, site development works including establishing a stockpiling area, site landscaping and site boundary treatments.
