Permission for a Large-Scale Residential Development (LRD) comprising amendments to Block 3 and 4 of a permitted Strategic Housing Development of 441 no. units (An Bord Pleanala Ref: 301991-18 as amended by 310378-21 and Cork City Council Reg. Ref: 23/41994) at a site located at Jacobs Island, Ballinure, Mahon, Cork. The amendment to Block 3 and 4 will consist of internal reconfiguration resulting in the omission of 16 no. studio units and 2 no. 2 bedroom units which will be replaced with 15 no. 1-bedroom units and associated elevational changes to balconies and window openings in Block 4. Reconfiguration of servicing area to separate Block 3 from Block 4 at ground floor resulting in additional floorspace where 2 no. 1-bedroom units are now proposed resulting in an overall decrease in units in the permitted development by 1 no. unit from 441 no. units to 440 no. units. This application for the proposed amendments to the consented Strategic Housing Development (ABP Ref: 301991-18 as amended by 310378-21 and Cork City Council LRD Reg.
