A) the construction of a new four storey (over basement) inpatient ward block (7,034 sqm total) located on the west side of the campus at Mallow General Hospital, to provide new inpatient accommodation including 2 no. 24 bed inpatient wards, 2 no. vacant floors for future development, plant rooms, 3 no. stair and lift blocks (two with lifts), enclosed link to the existing main hospital building, alterations to the existing main hospital to accommodate access to the new link incorporating a new bed lift and ground floor exit, associated site works including external plant areas, new access roads and retaining structures, site lighting, ambulance setdown area, new external signage and landscaping works, and , b) the retention of foundations, ground and site works including below ground service diversions, car parking changes, retaining walls and semi basement plant enclosure with supporting structure, and prefabricated building modules at basement, ground and first floor level (3,066 sqm).
