A 5.7MW solar farm comprising approximately 21,850 photovoltaic panels on ground mounted frames within a site area of 13.95ha, 3 no. transformer/inverter stations, security fencing, CCTV and all associated site development and landscaping works at the site of the existing Crocane Wind Farm. The proposed development will connect to the grid via the existing Crocane Wind Farm substation on site. The proposed development will utilise the existing access to the existing Crocane Wind Farm - Extension of Duration to Permission granted under Planning Ref. No. 16/5269
