The construction of a new single storey electrical control building and new 20m high stack to replace an existing 14.6m high as well as associated site plant, equipment and all associated site works at the existing research, development and manufacturing facility. The proposed development is for modifications to an establishment to which the Major Accidents Directives applies. The establishment holds an Industrial Emissions Licence and is regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency. Under the proposed development the site will remain in compliance with all regulatory requirements under the existing licensc condition.
