The construction of a containment basin, pipework with associated pipe platforms and all ancillary development works at the existing oil refinery facility. A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) has been prepared and will be submitted to the Planning Authority with the application. The proposed development is for modifications to an establishment to which the Major Accident Directive applies. The proposed development is for the purposes of an activity requiring an integrated pollution control licence [Industrial Emissions Directive (IED) Licence].
