The development will consist of a two-storey extension to an existing Chiller/Boiler house building (IE04). The extension is to accommodate a new Chiller on the ground floor with the associated Motor Control Centre (MCC) on the 1st floor. It is intended to construct an access stair to the 1st floor which will also act as a fire escape. The extension will also include associated site works including the construction of a retaining wall and the realignment of underground services. The proposed development is covered by an existing Industrial Emissions (IE) Licence No. P0009-04. The development refers to a modification to an establishment to which the Major Accident Regulations applies.
