Provision of a new single-storey electrical substation building with void below (gross floor area approx. 333sq.m, with a maximum height of 8.55metres at parapet level) and associated site development works. The proposed development also includes an extension to an on-site berm at the southeast of the overall complex. The development will be located on a site that currently operates under an Industrial Emissions (IE) Licence (P0009-04) under Part IV of the Environmental Protection Agency Act 1992 (as amended for the Protection of the Environment Act, 2003). The site comprises of an establishment to which the Chemicals Act (Control of Major Accidents Hazards Involving Dangerous Substances) Regulations 2015 (S.I.209 of 2015) applies.
