The retention and completion of alterations to the permitted redevelopment of No’s. 12/13 Pearse Street, Sleveen, Kinsale, Co. Cork to provide for a refurbished and amended ground floor retail unit and 7 no. 2 bedroom apartments (constructed on foot of Planning Reg. No. 20/06906). The proposed alterations consist of (a) alterations to the rear of the site, including the replacement of plant equipment, removal of associated canopy and removal of existing unstable wall structures, (b) alterations to internal building walls to accommodate increased retail and residential floor space, (c) extension and internal modifications to the ground floor retail area to provide for a new cash office, strong room and staff canteen and relocation of permitted toilets and staff facilities, (d) relocation of the retail and apartment bin storage areas and the inclusion of a new meter room and (e) internal modification to the permitted apartment units with associated elevational, fenestration and roof-light modifications.
