The proposed development for retention permission consists of: (i) 2 no. single storey standalone modular units comprising a c.8.3sqm staff room and c.5.1 sqm storage room built to the south west corner of the site; (ii) the amalgamation and reordering of internal montessori, ancillary staff and office rooms; (iii) 2 no. covered play areas attached to the rear of the pre school building to the north, measuring a total of c.102.sqm; (iv) increase in capacity of the childcare facility from a permitted 20 no. childcare spaces to 50 no. childcare spaces; (v) minor changes to the permitted external façade finishes (on the east, west and north, elevations) and roof; and (vi)all other site development works above and below ground.
