Permission for the following modifications to the Trident Hotel Kinsale consisting of; a) the removal of storage area/WC's and extension of the southern wing to provide 1 no. 3-bedroom hotel apartment including balcony area; b) the construction of a new boardwalk, seating area and information/ticket kiosk (associated with the adjoining marina); c) the removal of existing ceiling at first floor level above restaurant to provide replacement ceiling; d) the change of use of existing function room and ancillary rooms at second floor level on the northern wing to provide 7 no. additional suites/bedrooms; e) alterations to the façade of existing hotel to include enlarged windows and doors on the south elevation, skylights, doors and windows on the north elevation, alterations to bedroom windows on west elevation and alterations to inner south façade to provide french doors and juliette balconies, and f) all associated ancillary site development works.
