The development will consist of the installation of a replacement block production yard and block storage area within an application area of c.2hectares. The development will comprise of; 1) the construction of new block production yard, comprising a reinforced concrete ground bearing slab (c.7,155m2), 2) installation of sub-surface storm water drainage beneath the concrete slab which will discharge via a silt trap and hydrocarbon interceptor to the adjoining quarry floor (and to ground thereafter) and 3) provision of a hard standing (unpaved) area (c.2,950m2) for concrete block storage pending sale and dispatch off-site.
