Permission for refurbishment, alterations and change of use of the former Bank of Ireland building (Cork County Council protected structure ref 01166) and associated outbuilding (Cork County Council protected structure ref 01177) for use as offices. The development also includes an extension to the former Bank of Ireland building. The proposed development consists of or comprises the carrying out of works to a protected structure. The proposed development is served by cycle and car parking and all ancillary works to facilitate the development including the demolition of the existing modern single storey office buildings located along the eastern boundary. Access to the proposed development will be from the existing entrance from the main street. A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) has been prepared and will be submitted to the Planning Authority with the application.
