In accordance with the Habitats Directive, Appropriate Assessment Screening has been carried out on the project. A preliminary examination of the nature, size and location of the development has been carried out pursuant to Article 120(1) of the Planning & Development Regulations, 2001 (as amended) and it has been concluded that there is no real liklihood of sigificant effects on the environment arising from the proposed development and, accordingly, an Environmental Impact Assessment is not required
