Permission for retention of the construction of a four storey (over basement) ward block (7,040 sqm total) located on the west side of the campus at Mallow General Hospital, to provide new inpatient accommodation over four floors, plant rooms, 3 no. stair and lift blocks (two with lifts), enclosed link to the existing main hospital building on two levels, a new medium voltage switchroom (24sqm) on the east side of the campus, alterations to the existing main hospital to accommodate access to the new link, associated site works including external plant areas, new access roads and retaining structures, site lighting, ambulance setdown area, and landscaping works
