Permission for the construction of a mobility impaired access structure (MIAS) that will be within the curtilage of Protected Structures (RPS Ref: 1689 and 1690/NIAH Survey Data Reg. Nos. 20828039 and 20828040). The structure is a hybrid assembly of different concrete and steel elements including a pair of staircases (two flights each), free standing lift shafts, support portals, electrical services and a walkway. Associated works include the creation of an access path and gate from the existing entrance at Bunker Hill to platform 2, an extension of the platform surface around the MIAS, re-location of track access gate (1.8 m) to the R624, a proposed concrete robust kerb, extension of existing wall, and ancillary works.
