Permission for the alteration of an apartment building at Mariner’s View, Maulbaun, Passage West, Co. Cork, permitted as part of a previously approved development of 31 no. apartments and 9 no. dwelling houses and all ancillary site development works, Cork County Council Planning Reference 20/4037 and An Bord Pleanála ABP-306998-20. The proposed application includes the following alterations to the previously permitted scheme consisting of: 1. Relocation of previously permitted ESB Meter Room and bike store to an alternative location at ground floor level of the apartment building, 2. Replacement of original break tank room, meter room and bike store locations on the ground floor of the apartment building with 2 no. own door apartments (1 no. 1 bedroom apartment and 1 no. 2 bedroom apartment) 3. Amendments to 4 no. existing apartments and respective site works to allow own door entry (2 no. apartments at ground floor and 2 no. apartments at second floor), 4. Relocation of 5 no. parking spaces previously located at the site road entrance to the lower site parking area, 5. Incorporation of 2 no. additional parallel parking spaces adjacent to the site road entrance, 6. Landscape works to include incorporation of gabion walls to the site’s southern landscape and continuation of the previously approved fencing along the southern site boundary.
