Permission for:- (i) The erection and installation of an adventure activity course, including a net adventure area, multi-activity area, tubing course, ziplines, low ropes area, and ancillary activities; (ii) The erection of a single-storey reception cabin and a single-storey staff welfare cabin; (iii) The provision of toilet facilities; (iv) And all associated site and ancillary works on land at Fota Island,Foaty,Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork. The proposed site lies within the curtilage of Fota House, which is a Recorded Protected Structure (RPS Ref: No. 504). Additionally, the curtilage of Fota House contains several other protected structures located in proximity to the proposed development site, including the Farmyard Complex (RPS Ref: No. 1,411), Walled Garden (RPS Ref: No. 1,410), Garden Structure / Building (RPS: No. 1,409), and the Conservatory / Orangery (RPS Ref: 1,408), as detailed in the Cork County Development Plan 2022-2028.
