Permission for the construction of a new part one-storey and part two-storey extension to existing two-storey Ballygarvan National School. The development will include the demolition of the existing entrance canopy, ground floor glazed entrance and first floor corridor wall and glazing, and the construction of a new extension comprising 2 no. classrooms, 5 no. special education tuition (SET) rooms, associated support teaching spaces, a central activities space, and ancillary accommodation. Site works include the provision of 6 no. new car parking spaces, 1 no. road crossing, a sensory garden, the relocation of 3 no. accessible parking spaces and existing lay-by area, modifications to hard-standing/external play areas and all associated site development works.
