Permission and Retention Permission for development at Clashanure, Ovens, Co. Cork, within and adjoining the existing authorised quarry development (original permission Ref. s/636/84 and S/93/2326; ABP Ref. PL04.093827; Quarry Registration QR054/ABP Ref. 04.QC.2147. Permission is sought for Retention and continued use of an existing additional readymix concrete batching plant (constructed 2000) together with its closed-circuit water-recycling lagoon system located entirely within the existing permitted development area (existing concrete manufacturing also occurs at the site under S/2173/88 and S/93/2326; ABP Ref. PL04.093827). Retention Permission is also sought for quarrying development beyond the boundary of the permitted extraction area, namely: 1. c. 0. 46ha of rock extraction already carried out; and 2. c 3.64ha of ancillary re-contouring / sand & gravel extraction, now reinstated to agricultural use. All within an overall application area of c. 4.3 ha.
