Refused
Core Refusal Reason
The proposal for multiple dwellings in a rural area under strong urban influence fails to meet rural housing need criteria and conflicts with the settlement hierarchy of the Cork County Development Plan 2022.

- The proposal for two detached houses constitutes a multi-unit development that should be located within designated growth settlements rather than a rural area.
- The development would materially contravene the objectives of the Cork County Development Plan 2022 and would be contrary to the proper planning and sustainable development of the area.
