Permission for the construction of a two-storey extension to an existing coach house within the curtilage of Ballymacshanroe Castle, a recorded monument listed as a Tower House (RMP Ref. No. CO076-036), at The Coach House, Ashgrove, Cobh, Co. Cork, P24F586. The existing coach house is not listed on the Record of Protected Structures. The proposed development comprises: a two-storey extension to south-east of existing coach house with flat roof, incorporating part of the existing stone wall; a one-storey link with a green roof connecting the new two-storey extension to south-east of the existing coach house; demolition of two ruined outhouses to the south-east; alterations to the coach house, including replacement and installation of new doors and windows, and internal modifications; a south-facing patio and all associated site works.
