Refurbishment and reconstruction of vacant first and second floors of 142 and 143 Bank Place and existing extension to the rear of no. 142 Bank Place, to provide 5 No housing units, consisting of the following works: The partial change (34sqm) of use of rear of 142 Bank Place/Hibernian Way from retail to residential use, to provide access to 4 No upper floor apartments in 142 and 143 Bank Place and to a single duplex dwelling unit over the ground and first floors, accessed via existing entrance on Hibernian Way. Reconstruction, modifications and replacement of the existing roof area to the rear of 142 and 143 Bank Place including addition of a new flat roof to the rear, and the raising of existing flat roof. Alterations to elevations including the provision of new windows, the reconstruction of sections of the façade wall to the front and rear of 142 and 143 Bank Place, at first and second floor levels and the duplex dwelling unit on Hibernian Way. Internal restoration of upper floors and associated site works, including lighting and drainage, with refuse storage to be provided at an existing secure area on Hibernian Way. Retention of (a) remedial supporting works to upper floors of both 142 and 143 Bank Place and on Hibernian Way, (b) reopening of 2 no. existing windows to Hibernian Way. The proposed development is within the Mallow Town Centre (ACA-1) Architectural Conservation Area.
