Permission sought for development comprising: (i) change of use of the existing two storey building previously used as a garage and showroom to retail (convenience) use (573sqm) and use as a cafe (98sqm) at ground floor level with ancillary office space (149sqm) at first floor level; (ii) Reconfiguration and alterations to the interior and exterior of structure to accommodate the development including: (a) demolition of internal walls; 2 no. staircases; and existing platform to rear of building (24sqm); (b) replacement of front entrance door and glazing; (c) provision of 1 no. escape stairs; and (d) subdivision of proposed retail area to accommodate a back of house / support areas; and (iii) Permission is also sought for all ancillary works necessary to complete the development including the provision of signage at front elevation.
