Permission for the development will consist of the conservation, refurbishment and extension of an existing cottage, including demolition of an existing rear annex extension and construction of a new larger single-storey extension to the rear. Works to the existing cottage will include replacement of all windows and external doors, provision of additional windows, replacement of the existing roof, raising the roof by approximately 400mm, and works to the existing porch including relocation of the front entrance door and re-roofing of the porch. The development will also include the installation of a new wastewater treatment system comprising a bio-cycle treatment unit and percolation area, together with all associated site development and ancillary works
